PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy sets forth your rights and the information on processing of your Personal Data.

The Privacy Policy (hereinafter, “Privacy Policy”) defines the principles based on which Vertera OÜ (hereinafter, the “Company”) shall protect Personal Data related to provision of services, for which purpose the Personal Data are processed.

The Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who use any services or the webpage of the Company or make inquiries regarding the services of the Company.

The Privacy Policy is based on GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as on the Estonian data protection law.

All the contracts concluded by the Company include the Privacy Policy. By visiting the Company’s website, making requests about the Company's services and starting to use the Company's services, you accept the data processing principles set forth in the Privacy Policy.

According to Article 4 of Part 2 of the General Data Protection Regulations, Personal Data processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction

  • 1. Changes that the new law will entail
    • 1.1. After the new regulation comes into effect, we will continue to comply with the principles of secure processing of your Personal Data. We will:
    • 1.2. process your Personal Data in a lawful, fair and transparent manner;
    • 1.3. collect your Personal Data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not process them further in a way that is not compatible with those purposes;
    • 1.4. ensure that Personal Data processed are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;
    • 1.5. ensure that Personal Data are accurate and are kept up to date where it is necessary; take all reasonable steps to ensure that inaccurate Personal Data – considering the purposes for their processing – are deleted or rectified without any delay;

      • You can also provide additional Personal Data that we will process only when you enter and save them in your Profile.
    • 2.3. Your Personal Data processed for drawing up and implementing the contract - for us to sell you the goods you have chosen in vertera.org online store, we need to process the following Personal Data:
      • First name,

      • Date of Birth,
      • Personal code,
      • Passport number / ID number,
      • Copy of the passport / ID card,
      • Postal address,
      • Registration address,

      • We ask you to indicate a delivery address only if, when placing an order, you mentioned that, for your convenience, you want the goods to be delivered at the address provided.
    • 2.4. Your Personal Data processed to improve services and analyze the activities.
    • 2.5. Right to object to processing of Personal Data and further use of vertera.org online store
      • 2.5.1. You can always object to processing of your additional Personal Data when it is intended for analysis and marketing purposes only. However, the purchase cannot be completed without the required Personal Data, as we cannot fulfill such an order.
  • 3. Personal Data transfer
    • 3.1. Personal Data shall be transferred to reliable third countries only, with which we have concluded contracts, and only to the extent required for rendering the service. To render you quality services, we transfer your Personal Data to the following partners:
      • 3.1.1. Companies providing courier services that deliver goods at the addresses indicated;
      • 3.1.2. The Goods' suppliers that deliver goods to you directly; postal service.
    • 3.2. We also disclose your Personal Data to:
      • 3.2.1. Law enforcement authorities following the procedure set forth by the laws of the Republic of Estonia;
      • 3.2.2. State bodies and courts, when such an obligation is stipulated in the applicable legal acts.
    • 3.3. Storage of Personal Data.
    • 3.4. Your Personal Data shall be stored as long as required to implement the Contract for the Purchase of Goods. However, the storage period cannot be shorter than stipulated by the legal acts regulating our activities. Your Personal Data are processed with your consent and stored until you withdraw your consent.

      • 6.4.2. You have not withdrawn your consent to the processing of your Personal Data;
      • 6.4.3. You did not consent to the processing of your Personal Data, but such processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests;
      • 6.4.4. We are obliged to process your Personal Data, according to the national legal acts and those of the European Union.
      • 6.4.5. We are obliged to process your Personal Data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • 7. Right to restriction of processing
    • 7.1. You shall be entitled to obtain restriction of processing or object to processing of your Personal Data at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, if data processing is not required by law.
    • 7.2. In this case, if we fail to demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for data processing or arguments for establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, we will stop or restrict the processing of your Personal Data.
  • 8. Other Rights
    • 8.1. This Privacy Policy contains information about the type of Personal Data we collect and the ways we use them.
    • 8.2. In addition to the above-mentioned rights of access, right of rectification and restriction of or objection to processing, individuals may have other rights regarding their Personal Data that we keep, for example, the right to erasure / removal and the right to data portability.
